Our indoor sports is to give people a healthy and professionally managed environment to enjoy playing throughout the year. In indoor games, it hardly matters if a person is young or old or a serious high grade player. For beginners, it's the best way to start learning a game as stadiums are often packed with activities.
Variety

Today, there are a wide variety of games that can be played in indoor stadiums. Indoor sports include football, hockey, basketball, tennis and even cricket. Indoor games are becoming popular by the day not only for the kids but also for the teens and grown-ups. Some of the indoor games are

Badminton

Badminton is something you can play on almost any piece of flat ground if you have the equipment. Mostly it is played indoors in sports centres many of which run classes at the weekend or in the evenings. If you want to do a class or join a club but can't find the information contact the Badminton Association of England (BAE) who will give you a local contact.

To play badminton indoors you need to have training shoes with white soles. Often you can hire a racket but basic ones cost about £9 to buy. If you want the best prices go up to £200-300 but it's possible to get a good one for about £30.

Indoor Basketball

Indoor basketball is also hugely popular indoor sport in which two teams of five players try to score points by throwing a ball through a 10 foot high hoop under organized rules. Over the years, indoor basketball has come up with a set of new rules besides a number of techniques including shooting skills, passing and dribbling. Players positions are also part of the new set of rules.

Roller Hockey

Roller Hockey is a very fast and thrilling non-contact sport, we wear no body armour, and it's played with a stick and ball on roller skates. The ball can travel speeds up to 120 m.p.h.

The first recorded game of roller hockey was in 1885 at the Lava Rink in Denmark Hill, London. The first annual international amateur rink hockey tournament was held in France in 1910 and the final result was a win to the English team Crystal Palace Engineers who beat Ilford Canadians United 1-0. Prior to World War II England had been world champions, but as the sport became more and more popular in Europe the tide turned.
